Enchantments

I would like you to be able to use a command on bedrock edition to enchant anything with any enchantment at any level up to 256. An example would be one like a command you would use on java: /give @s minecraft:stick{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:knockback",lvl:5}]}. I know that this may be difficult due to the fact that they are coded in different programming languages. I think that I and a lot of bedrock edition who use commands and make minigames would like this change.

    Your idea for a solution involves the use of NBT data, which isn’t widely supported in Bedrock.

    My counter proposal— allow /enchant to enchant tools & armor with levels up to 255, rather than keeping it capped at the max level for each individual enchantment, like protection 4 or unbreaking 3.

    The syntax doesn’t need to change, so it should be relatively simple to implement:

    /enchant <target> <enchantment> <1-255>

    Since cheats need to be enabled to use commands like /enchant, it doesn’t make much have this limit to enchantments.
