what if we add an AI model to the NBCs in the game so the player can interact with them. they can build their own character based on the player's actions.

    AI needs a lot of computing power. MC is still being played on many low-end computers. Creating an AI for NPCs would lead to lag on such computers, which is a huge problem in various cases already.
