Updated (again!) Touch Controls Feedback

...and it's another update to the touch controls
We have now
  • Tweaked the layout to remove gaps between the buttons
  • Added backward strafing buttons
  • Added a small safe zone around the dpad to allow for fluid movement across the buttons and to prevent camera movement immediately outside the buttons

Hello Miners! The latest Bedrock release includes some follow-up adjustments to the D-pad touch controls on mobile, which received a new look & feel back in March.

We understand that we didn't fully hit the mark the first time around and we're shipping these adjustments to address your feedback on the changes we introduced previously.

You can now:

  • Slide your finger between movement buttons of the d-pad without stopping in between
  • Overlap the d-pad with the hotbar for a more comfortable position
  • Also, the swim and jump button are now aligned to make swimming at the surface easier

    PLEASE put the fly up button back in the middle of the D pad
