This might be a off shoot idea but let me explain, rabbits are generally one of the worst when it comes to animal husbandry since they are a annoyance to kill let alone capture 2 or more. Additionally, the food source from rabbit is mediocre at best and completely obsolete at worst during the late early game. My proposition is that rabbits should have a similar attribute as the sheep where there is a set percentage/probability every game tick where the sheep will eat grass, but instead of eating grass it involves a pair of rabbits. My idea is that if there are pair of rabbits in certain radius for every game tick in that loaded chunk there is a small percentage(maybe 0.020%) those rabbits will start breeding to create another rabbit. My reasons for this, including the ladder sentences, is because it's self breeding/repopulate method for farms don't include redstone in it's most basic form unlike chickens,it would include a whole new realm of possibilities with redstone farms, it would incentivize the living and exploration in meadows, and it would be similar the real world where rabbits are known to have really high population/reproduction rates.I hope that you like my idea as this took a long time to think out
