Cape Windiness - Visual Customization

With the addition of so many new capes for Minecraft's 15th anniversary, the looks of them are all the drama. I love the fact that the capes show above armour, I love the fact that they replace the texture of the Elytra, and I love the fact the customs Elytra’s get the enchantment glint. One thing I don’t like is how much they fly up while running or falling. The walking animation on capes feels more so like how it should look for running, and both running and falling feel over exaggerated. One thing I suggest is a new setting the allow the player to customize these looks. This setting would probably be located under “video” in “settings” and would probably be a scroll bar, rather than a switch, but it could really be either. This setting would ONLY effect that device and the looks on the cape would be unchanged to players that have not changed this setting. I feel like this small change would add a lot more customization to the capes and would be easier on the eyes. Personally, I would really like the see this feature in a future update, as it would encourage me the actually use my capes.
