modding api

i know this is a scratch on a record happening again and again but you guys have said youd put out the modding api and all i see is this marketplace version meant to make money dont get me wrong alot of the addons are cool but why do they also disable achievements id like to earn achievements with the addons a game whee you can be creative seems limited by what things you can have on your world doesnt seem very creative to me
