This minecart uses wind charges when actively moving at a rate of 1 wind charge every 10 seconds.

The windswept minecart speed depends on the amount of wind charges in the windswept minecart.

• No wind charges: 1/2 the speed of regular Minecarts.
• At least 8 wind charges: 75% of the speed of regular Minecarts.
• At least 16 wind charges: The speed of regular Minecarts.
• At least 24 wind charges: 25% faster than regular Minecarts.
• At least 28 wind charges: 37.5% faster than regular Minecarts.
• At least 32 wind charges: 50% faster than regular Minecarts.
• At least 48 wind charges: 100% faster than regular Minecarts.
• At least 64 wind charges: 250% faster than regular Minecarts.

You can insert wind charges into the windswept minecart by sneaking and using wind charges on the windswept minecart.

The windswept minecart is rideable. Opening your inventory while riding the windswept minecart shows a GUI about how many wind charges are in the minecart, and whether the wind charges should be used up or not.
