I'd like to make better use of the horses, but they can't swim and the leaves are in the way, so they can't run through the woods.
As an improvement plan
Allow swimming while riding.
Increase the riding height to 2 blocks or the height of the leaves in the trees to 3 blocks so that you can ride through the forest.
