Owls

I've seen suggestions for it, but I haven't found one like what I'm envisioning; they spawn in the different forests, taigas, and plains in the evening-early morning and can be tamed with raw rabbit. When tamed, they can sit on your shoulder or fly around you and, with a telescope, can target distant mobs and players. They also occasionally drop owl pellets once tamed like how a chicken drops eggs that can be brewed into Potions of Silence that make you much more quiet and removes your player tag for a short period, useful around skulk and for sneaking around in PVP settings. Also they'd just be cute lol
