Fix Minecraft Console Edition's only parity issue

Towards the end of Minecraft: Console Edition's lifespan, the PlayStation 4 Edition of the game was updated to the Village & Pillage update, because of this, the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition were left behind on the World Of Colour update. (1.12)

At this point, every other Console Edition had been updated to at least the Update Aquatic... (1.13)

That is, all other than the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch editions. This doesn’t exactly make sense either, considering their predecessor consoles, the Xbox 360, WiiU, and even PlayStation Vita - the least powerful version of Minecraft Console - had gotten that 1.13 update, despite being significantly less powerful. This petition is designed to request that Mojang, Microsoft, or 4J Studios updates the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch Console Editions of the game to 1.14, or the same update the PlayStation 4 received, since they are more than capable of handling it. This would also fix the parity issue between the legacy versions; with the newer-gen consoles all having the Village and Pillage update, and the older-gen consoles having the update aquatic. This is something Mojang are striving towards with the Java and Bedrock versions of the game. Console Edition shouldn't be left out when all that is required is taking the finished update files from the PS4 and porting them to the Xbox One and Nintendo switch versions - then there would be no need for any future work on the Console Editions of the game.

    this is a really good idea and i really support it, but it just feels weird that foxes and suspicious stew aren't in ps4 edition, so i hope they add those when this happens (if it does)

    also, now that the switch 2 has released, there is an issue with maps in the legacy version so why not just update it to 1.14 while youre at it

    Another thing I'd want is a Minecraft Dungeons Mash-up Pack, complete with skins, a texture pack, and Minigame maps for Glide & Battle

    I  agree especially since the older gen consoles had 1.13 making it impossible to transfer your old worlds to legacy or even bedrock if you had your worlds updated which makes NO SENSE

    I agree. And I feel like this would be a proper ending for the Legacy consoles. If they fix the bugs with the 1.14 update, plus add it to Xbox One and Switch editions, then it would be a huge win for the community and the people who still play Legacy to this very day.

    I see multiple problems with this, first off it would never happen even if mojang considered it they’re not the ones who developed it and you can’t (at least I think) update for Wii U, 3DS, and Xbox 360 edition anymore (correct me if I’m wrong) and secondly the people who developed the game is 4J studios and not mojang. And finally, they’re not gonna pay 4J to update an obsolete game to an obsolete version.

    @TheOutGuy12, the reason Xbox One Edition got updated in the first place was because it was Mojang that did this, not 4J Studios.

    To the person who said that switch edition was on disc, switch games are on cartridges. But the switch version never saw a physical release and was only digital.

    As a PS4 Legacy player to this day,
    I wished PS4's last update was Aquatic as a Last chance it be Sony's fault for not allowing Bedrock to the players who want to experience Village & Pillage as 1.14 is the first update that just feels wrong on Legacy consoles in my opinion. This makes it ridiculous legacy XB1 and Switch as newer gens are 2 updates behind.

    I get the point however XB1 & Switch was killed off early for bedrock, would of had been better at this point the older gens did not get Aquatic.
