A pillager in disguise. The difference between an agent and a villager is that their voice is deeper and they have a slight smirk. If the player sees one of these in a village, they can talk to a villager and have the choice to warn them or trade. When the player warns the villagers, they can either believe or not believe the player. Green sparks mean that they believe you, red sparks mean the opposite. The player has to have three villagers believe them for anything to happen. The agent will go back and forth from the village to the woodland mansion where they are planning a raid. The player can follow the agent to woodland mansion and kill the pillagers to stop the raid. In the mansion, in the map room, instead of rugs, there could be a locator map of the village. This would show the villagers and the agent. After five minecraft days, if the player does not warn the village, the raid will start. If the player warns the villagers, they will kill the agent and they will start building iron golems. You can see them placing the blocks to create the iron golems. When the agent is killed, he will drop a map to the mansion and also an enchanted axe that, when held, will disguise you as the agent. This will allow you to enter the mansion and not be attacked. When the player is in the map room, they can see the pillagers plotting, but only when disguised as the agent. If the player does not warn the villagers, the iron golems will not attack the agent.
