Pocket Edition Touch Controls (Bring back the old ones!)

I love Minecraft and have been playing for years, but these new controls are too small, too far up, and too far to the right, and if you play on a bigger device this can make playing virtually impossible, especially if you have a very large device or smaller hands. Customizing controls doesn’t work as the changes never stick after I save them and exit. Even just an option to have the old ones or a working customizer would be a lifesaver. I’ve tried using these new controls but the extra distance makes my hands cramp after a while. I haven’t played since the update, and if they aren’t changed back I’ll probably just delete the app because my hands physically cannot reach the controls in a natural, comfortable way.
