First off, the 1.21 update is following the theme of combat and Redstone, so doing the experimental combat snapshot v8 would real overhaul the update in a way that the community would love. First attack to add is the sheild slam. Make it so that when you blok with a sheild, you can left click right afterward to attack back with that sheild. Next attack is the stab. Right clicking with swords or tridents no longer blocks, but instead stabs out and increases your reach distance by 1 block, doing 2 more damage than the max crit damage your sword or trident can normally do. It is highly powerful, so such an attack puts your sword and or trident into a cool down phase to simulate the fact that you have to pull the weapon out of the person you just stabbed. Next attack is the bash attack. This is usable with the mace. This bash attack happens when you right click for lon enough to use a swing that sacrifices 3 hunger bars to knock back your enemy 10 blocks and do the same amount of damage as crating someone with strength and a sharpness netherite axe. Next,make turtle shells immune to the smash attack. What I mean I'd that when you fall down with mace and then crit, it usually does a lot of damage and smashes the ground, but with a turtle helmet, it does 1 less damage per block, and the mace doesn't stop your fall when you have a turtle helmet. Next, make new projectiles. Metal crossbow bolts which do like 2 more damage per speed boost.
