More Balanced Armor Trim Duplication

Currently, armor trim duplication is much more expensive than I think it makes sense to be. Netherite duplication should be expensive, as Netherite is an endgame item however, trim templates aren't really worth 28 diamonds (especially if you're at a point in the game where you're primarily using iron).

I feel like it would make sense for duplication to use other, related items instead of diamonds.

    Diamonds are useless once you've got fully enchanted gear, so they just sit in storage gathering dust. Diamonds are extremely easy to obtain nowadays, you can get a lot just by exploring structures, no need to even go mining.

    I agree, either make them reusable or have the duplication recipe made from renewable items.

    i feel that diamonds are relatively easy to get from the new cave generation, but for something purely aesthetic it shouldn't be that tedious to duplicate the trims. then again i don't know what would be used in place of diamond

    diamonds are easy to get yes , but you have all said "at endgame". this idea says early game and even so its still expensive . im not gonna waste my life finding that many diamonds to dupe an amour trim.
