The villager mob was originally designed to be an anti-semitic caricature (in control of unit of currency, large noses, use of "golems", etc). That being said I greatly appreciate the changes that have been made to the villagers in recent updates! As a feature of the game I've enjoyed since I first heard of Minecraft in 2012, they are a very fun and engaging feature. I personally LOVE designing large, sprawling villages with spires for job blocks and fields to feed the villagers and ensuring that they are well-defended. But with the similarities to their original design still so evident, I've become deeply uncomfortable with playing a game I have loved since childhood. Please, please consider amending the facial proportions of the villagers and iron golems so that they do not have disproportionately large noses. More human or in line with the design of the rest of the game (maybe similar facial symmetry of other mobs like the zombie or the skeleton?) I know it's a small change. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal. But it would go a long way towards making Minecraft more welcoming of it's players. (Speaking of, LOVE the pride gear!! It's made the game so much more fun to play both on my own and online to see LGBTQ pride integrated into the game so thoughtfully and enthusiastically!)
