One issue that I’ve occasionally ran into with respect to villager’s reliance on workstation blocks, is that I will regularly want to use those blocks (especially beds!) when I’m working with and living near/in a village, but villagers claim that bed, and a new villager is born to take my bed or claim a barrel I’m using for storage. With the waxing of copper blocks, however, I feel like a similar use-case could be applied to village items. Basically, it would be some underused item (maybe the wax again, but I’m not sure that makes too much sense) that you could click on workstation and other village blocks to have villages not detect them and villagers ignore them like any other block. Perhaps the effect could be removed in a similar way to wax too to give the player a bit more control! Love to see these new villager trade changes, and I would love to see this get implemented as well!!
