These blocks should not be supported by the sides of dirt path in Bedrock:

Torches
Levers
Buttons
Tripwire hooks
Coral fans

Vines
Ladders
Bells

Java cannot support these blocks on the sides of dirt paths.

Why not instead allow Java to support these blocks on the side?
