When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Insulated Copper Wire

There should be an item called "Insulated Copper Wire"
Craft it with Wool or Honeycomb, with Redstone and Copper ingots as the primary ingredients.
Basically the idea would be that it serves the same function as redstone, but it can be placed Underwater.
It'd be a nice quality of life feature for underwater bases and farms while giving copper ingots and Honeycomb another practical use outside of decoration.
Lava should still destroy it.

    Awesome idea! More tinkering uses for copper would be cool.
