Coyotes can be tamed with bones and attack skeletons, sheep, rabbits, foxes and baby turtles. coyotes spawn in deserts and will attack you if not tamed. Tamed coyotes will have dyeable collars when tamed and coyotes have red eyes when angry also coyotes have their own sounds and will steal items that you dropped. coyotes do not attack wolves. and coyotes will try to steal a item in your hand if you’re not looking and it is rare for a coyote to attack you. coyotes can pick up items like foxes and eat dropped meat and tamed coyotes don’t attack you and don’t steal your items. And wolf armor can be equipped on coyotes and tamed coyotes will give you a item to say sorry for stealing you’re item and if you drop a item the tamed coyote will go get it and give it to you. and if you kill a coyote holding a item it will drop it. also untamed coyotes will follow you because their trying to steal a item in you’re hand. also tamed coyotes will follow you but won’t try to steal a item in you’re hand. Also tamed coyotes will sleep when the player isn’t doing anything and tamed coyotes close their eyes when sleeping if the player is doing anything the tamed coyote will stay awake and coyotes are fast and can out run you even if you have the speed effect they can still out run you and coyotes have special ai and this includes killing skeletons without getting hit by arrows and can kill hostile mobs without getting hit and can kill the wither by dodging it’s attacks and this will be in 1.21.
