The idea is exactly as the title says, the new "Breach" enchantment is fantastic, and would be a great addition to Pickaxes, making pickaxes a viable weapon in combat.
War Picks were used in medieval times to pierce armor, and this seems like something that would apply well to pickaxes, and provide another use for the Breach enchantment rather than cluttering libraries.
On top of that, to give shovels more of a use, they should naturally have more knockback, with the Knockback enchantment being able to be applied to it to launch enemies back with minimal damage.
The whole purpose is to give already existing "weapons" more variety to allow more combat variability. Both of these would function great in both PvE and PvP.
