No actual armor trims but if you put a tool and a certain item in the smithing table it then embeds the weapon/tool with the item, the item gives a special boost to the tool/weapon. Examples: diamond=+1 hit point or better efficiency! Breeze rods=longer reach! Gold= more effective against piglins! Emerald=better enchantment percentage much like upgrading to netherrite!
