I believe crafters, right now, are harder to use than they need to be. It's easy enough to automate the making of 1-item recipes like stairs, slabs, and armor. but the complexity just balloons when you want to make recipes with 2 or more unique ingredients. this is because the slot an individual ingredient ends up in depends on the order received. which means you really need to micromanage your system if you wanna craft something like a dispenser. i believe this can be fixed by making crafters "intentional", that is, you can select what a crafter will make before you even use it, and any items that come in always end up in the right spot. this would also make them less prone to error.
