Since Minecraft 1.21 update really focused on wolves, why not make it better with the following ideas,
1. Wolves can wander around in a certain area chosen by the player.
2. Wolves interact with the player and vice versa, like making the player able to pet the wolf.
3. Wolves can now protect certain areas from anything that enters that certain area.
4. Tamed wolves now chase tamed cats around (without damaging the cat).
5. Make different wolf variants have different behaviors, just like pandas. Or make it different according to different stats.
6. Add wolf toys, like a ball that can be thrown, or a bone that squeaks.
Thanks for reading, I really hope Mojang take at least some of these ideas into consideration.
