With the minecraft 1.20.71 update, the touch controls on the Pocket Edition have changed so much that it has become very difficult to play the game properly. After several years of "D-pad and touch controls" I am very upset about this change as I have been playing pvp on my smart phone for several years. I propose to rescind this change and revert back to the original "control by d-pad and touch" method. If the change is not made I will never play PE again.
I think it's all very well to invent and incorporate a unified design, but I don't think it goes so far as to remove and replace what was already there, which in my opinion, is not a good thing to do.
As a user who has been playing minecraft Pocket Edition for several years, I feel compelled to forgive this.
PS: I was playing by creating and adapting my own textures for the above mentioned operation.
The textures for the newer controls are smaller and, most importantly, I have to re-create the textures "if" I continue to play the game.
That's another reason why I don't like the new controls.
