The Castaway update would added many new places to explore, building primarily off of sea and what it has to offer already. New places called Isle will now spawn all across oceans in the players world. Inside these Isles you will be able to find ruined palaces, forgotten treasure, and a new entity called " The Moss". The Moss is a non-hostile mob until provoked. It looks like a normal moss block until you approach it, where it will then grow eyes and legs. The moss can be killed and has a slight chance to drop a buried treasure map and will always drop a moss block. When Provoked, The Moss will charge at the player and bite them, inflicting a poison effect for 7 seconds. Inside of the new Isles a new musical item has a small percent chance of spawning inside of any chest which spawn in the Isles. The new instrument is a bongo, which when played will attract all near Moss creatures and has a small percent chance to tame them. There is also a new hostile called "Ocean Roamers" which inhabit Isles and contest you for loot inside of the Isles. Ocean Roamers can collect dropped loot from dead players and other entities whilst wielding Bows with various tipped arrows and Iron Swords. They also may spawn with tamed Moss creatures that they can send to attack you. Finally, a new weapon, The Swift bow, can be crafted using three Blaze Rods and 3 wind charges. Unlike a normal bow, The Swift Bow charges 1.5x faster and on impact creates an AOE of wind pushing all entities around the AOE
