This may very well already be in the works, however I thought I'd suggest it either way.
Currently, the new Wind Charge item has no interactions with any of the games "vehicles" (Boats and minecarts specifically). This feels like such a missed opportunity! I think it'd be awesome to be able to use the Wind Charge on a mount, or while in a mount.
As for how this would work, there's multiple approaches I can think of. Most obviously, just have the Wind Charge react the same way with vehicles as it does with every other entity (launching them back and up several blocks, but doing no damage to the vehicle or it's occupants), however I think there's a little more creativity to explore with this idea.
Perhaps while in a vehicle, using a Wind Charge would result in a small hop. This would be cool for exploration (especially in Frozen Ocean biomes, where you can travel very quickly on land), and would also make for some cool features in minecart roller coasters and minigames.
Finally, maybe the Wind Charge could boost the vehicle forward when it's operator uses one. Think of the Super Mushroom item from Super Mario Kart, something like that would again be useful for exploration and minigames, however would also give more use to these items, especially the minecart, which as some niche YouTubers have talked about recently, are rather slow.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter if vehicles have special functionality with Wind Charges, but either way it'd be fun to experiment with this in-game.
