As an avid player who primarily uses a controller, I've noticed an issue that has affected my enjoyment of the game: a lack of adjustable deadzone. On the Playstation 4 version of Minecraft, the deadzone is small enough that joystick drift can become very prominent. This significantly diminishes the gameplay experience, causing unintended movements or actions that can be frustrating, especially in scenarios that require precise control, such as intricate building or combat. Adjustable deadzones would allow players to customize the sensitivity of their controller's analog sticks, providing greater control and reducing the impact of drift. This could be achieved through an addition to the settings menu, where players can adjust the deadzone size to suit their preferences. I understand implementing new features requires time and resources, but I believe that by addressing this issue, Minecraft can become even more enjoyable and accessible to a wider audience of players.
