A Validation command for mapmakers

Okay so i think there is a better way then a laggy redstone clunk of mess that bedrock players like me struggle with and we can't verify if a person put a certain specific item in a chest to allow us to make sure they pay for the items they are buying in like vending machines and such so what about a verification command that can check for a item(named,type of item,id, and for wool and stuff colors) that can be used to give a output of redstone if it does detect the item in the chest or hopper or block with storage slots or even the player's inventory or hotbar this would fix alot of lag issues with having to use so much redstone for a simple shop in a map

    I forgot to mention in my original post that it can also be used for sorting or even redstone doors that have locks allowing way more creativity
