I’m sure it’s been submitted before. But it makes no sense that a villager I created a house and job for a minimum 150-200 blocks away doesn’t connect to the bed right next to them. Also doesn’t make sense that another villager way back in the village connects to it, there are plenty of beds. I just think if you have your own house in a village or create houses with iron doors, there should be something in the code that notices you have an iron door and villagers won’t try to get in. I just get annoyed that I can’t kill the villager attached to my own bed but he won’t leave my house. I almost wish a new villager would link to wherever I put their parents bed first. Because I could build another bed there east. But I shouldn’t have to block them in with dirt to get their path finding to stop searching their original bed coordinates they linked to. I literally will make diamond doors if it would make whatever villager is inside the house link to the bed and job, especially the bed tho. Iron doors should do that though. Like it’s insane how frustrating and stupid it is to organize your villagers in a sense. Even if I had to have more resources to make certain beds for certain villagers. OKAY. I’m just tired of a villager linking to a bed when they are so far away.
