There are many villagers that exist in the Minecraft world. An example would be the farmer who provides food to the villagers, a blacksmith provides tools, the armorer armor. But there is no miner. This villager would be a new thing that you could find living in villages with its house that will have ores (Coal, iron, gold, emeralds, etc). It would also have a chest with things that you would find underground (coal, deep slate, diamonds, skulk blocks, hostile mob drops, pickaxe enchantments, pickaxes, etc). This would not only make another cool house in the village but also will have new trades. He can give you pickaxe enchants, to raw ore trades like Iron and gold, and at the max level can sell a good iron or diamond pickaxe with enchants or trade obsidian or blocks of a ore (coal, raw iron, raw gold, redstone blocks, and any new metals that could be added in the future. One last idea would be to have a little underground miner colony similar to the mineshaft but in good condition with no cobwebs and one room with 10 beds in which they all sleep with a bunch of ores (which can even include diamond). Also chests containing loot from underground and maybe a pickaxe or two with enchants on it or enchant books. If it is not to much to ask for it would also be nice if the miner was able to actually mine blocks. Not like trees but mainly stone and some ores. Or have a new job station for it like a stone crafting table with a pickaxe on it. Thanks for reading have a good day IG85
