Long ago, some deserts used to be under oceans. Helions would be the desert variant of the guardians that remained. Instead of prismarine/crystals, a Helion would drop quartz crystals & "Setrine" (yellow-orange variant of prismarine). The spikes on its body are sand-quartz crystals that it uses to harness the light of the sun. Hitting them would cause 2 hearts of damage, and destroying each segment makes it move faster. Destroying the head slays the mob.
They have 2 attacks: Shoot beam at the player (cause nausea & burn player) & move side-to-side. Can see & attack through glass. If hit with a projectile, it will sink into the ground, find the player that hit it, start flinging sand particles before emerging, then rise straight up and deal 7 hearts of damage and knock back (will also do this attack once per segment taken down). Each segment has same health as a guardian, but top head has double health. Resists projectile damage, Immune to fire, and head is immune to projectiles when further than 6 blocks (Eye closes in statue mode). At night (except in structure), they stay submerged until stepped on (shorter ones can spawn buried).
Spawn in desert or mesa biome (has mesa biome variant) during "Sandstorms" or near temples or in new monuments.
Loot? Sun trim & sherd
*Used to be called Sentinels, Preservers, or Solkers -(vote for name change)
Purpose: Part of a larger update for reworked/new dungeons & structures. (also for a farmable source of sand/quartz)

(Mesa Biome variant)
