The mob vote is fun and democratic, but it could be even better if you would take some of the most voted mobs/features from the category you want the vote about and make a vote between them in the launcher. The winner gets added to the game. Like this every player could decide what got added to the game they play on. The losers could also get to Minecraft at the next vote. Even if you do that (mojang), please keep the mob vote, but also allow the mobs that are not voted in all votes to have a chance of coming in the game later. Not essentially in the moment, but maybe in later votes. (To give an impact to the votes, you could develop the features in the context of the update so it matters when they came out.). For the mob vote haters: Also, if mojang change nothing to the system, the votes are something every one forgets after 1 week or 2 and it doesn't really matters so it is ok, and as longest as we get something new in the game, it is good.
(Still, i would love a comunity feedback vote.)
