Amidst the woods and greenery fair,
Dwell nymphs, the spirits of the air.
They dance and sing in nature's grace,
And every flower knows their face.
With laughter sweet and voices bright,
They fill the forest with delight.
Their beauty shines like morning dew,
And all who see them feel anew.
For nymphs are nature's loving heart,
A part of every living part.
In earth and sky and sea they roam,
And bless the world that is their home.

Minecraft's forests are currently barren and sad. Another problem is that players feel inclined to tear apart the forests many animals call home to improve their homes. Enter the nymph. Nymphs would be a mob similar in size to the player, but most would be slightly taller and more slender. Their skin would be made of bark, but their hair and clothes would be made of leaves. Nymphs would be willing to trade for rotten flesh, which they take because they consider the undead abominations. The rotten flesh would be a sort of proof that you were in line with them, a guardian of the forest. They would also accept bonemeal to help tend to the wounds of their people. They would be hostile towards all undead, and would also attack cave spiders. They would carry bows and occasionally positive potions, to heal the natural creatures around them. They would spawn in all forests except spruce and jungles and would have a different variant for each biome, including cherry blossom groves.
