Make minecarts faster by adding redstone in it's crafting recipe

Minecarts are incredibly slow (fastest speed is about 8 blocks per second).A normal horse has more speed than it . And in late game it basically has no use (because of elytra and shulker boxes). There should be a feature that if we put a minecart in a crafting table and a redstone , its speed level will be increased by 4 to 6 blocks per second and it will get faster if we add more redstone(just like fireworks and gunpowder).The highest speed can be 30 to 50 blocks per second. This will improve minecarts so much that everybody ( I mean everybody; a new player to a late game player) will use it for transport . I want this because I barely see anybody to use it for transport. Everybody will love this feature.
