I understand that the fall-damage-immune horses was an overpowered bug, which has now been fixed, but considering that I and many other bedrock users have been enjoying horses with that bug for years, I would like a command that toggles fall damage for horses to true or false, so players in cheat-enabled worlds can prevent horse fall damage. Or if that doesn’t seem like a viable option, I would also accept enchantable horse armor that you could put feather falling on.
I don’t think my 5-block-jumping horse should be taking damage from its own jump height. The bits of damage after falling a short distance such as off a tree or hill are also annoying, and stack up quite quickly. Since I was used to the fall-immune horses, the debuff has been a big change and discouraged me from using horses to get around. I believe implementing an optional way to reduce or prevent this damage would be especially useful to mcpe/mobile players like me, since navigation/coordination isn’t as refined, so clumsy movements/missteps are easy to make.
A few updates ago, I was also able to put horses in a boat by riding them onto the boat. I assume this was changed for parity with Java, but I don’t truly believe the inability to get horses into boats improves the experience of the player. Because I was able to do it in the past, I know it is possible to re-implement.
