A new evolution of Command Blocks

Many years ago, around the time Minecraft Xbox 360 edition was still around, there was an XBL Indie Game called, Total Miner Forge. In the game, they had a block known as a Script Block. Much like a command block, but you were able to create commands all in one block instead of requiring multiple. Not only that, they also had a zones option where you can create areas that can't be broken by players or make areas non-PvP within a zone. The commands reminded me of a Python like code and it was easily learnable and I really enjoyed my time scripting in the script block. You could even use fill commands and have multiple blocks fill in the same area with it mixing blocks like ores if you wanna make a prison like server. The whole experience felt like a coder's dream. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it would be great if we can have something like this within Minecraft. I believe this would benefit those who wanna create a true server like world where we're in control. Something for users to be proud of their work and expand their creativity.
