This is my post for a Villagetown update from the popular book series "Diary of an 8-bit warrior". There are no plans to change villagers everywhere (I checked) so villagers are only different here. Everywhere else they are back to being normal.
Villagetown: This village looks normal except that it has a cobblestone wall and it is very large. Villagers have names, personalties, and some have hair. There is a mayor, library, village hall, tree forest, a small pond where villager kids fish, and a (kind of large) school where all kid villagers go every day. Every 30 Minecraft days (doesn't have to be that long), all kid villagers will graduate at a ceremony and randomly pick a profession, these are new ones. Builder: repairs damage done by mobs and players. Miner: mines under the village for iron and other ores. Lumberjacks: These villagers get an axe at graduation and they chop wood and replant the saplings. Warrior: These special villagers will go outside the wall with sword, bow, and armor during the day to fight mobs 100 blocks from the wall, and defend the village if mobs breach the wall! When they aren’t fighting they hang out at the pond or around the village square. The normal professions are still available but only 20% become warriors. If mobs approach the wall the warriors will climb a ladder up and shoot arrows down on them. Mobs will try to get in by creepers blowing up near the wall and zombies, skeletons, and other mobs walking in around every 3 Minecraft days.
