The Gust: a breath of fresh air

Cloud Islands

Cloud islands are islands that generate above average mountain height. They vary in size and consist of cloud blocks, a water source, and the Gust. 

Unique Blocks

Clouds and Thundering Cloud blocks are special blocks that allow entities to walk over them as long as they aren't crouching. If a player were to crouch, they would fall to their eventual demise. When it rains, Cloud blocks turn into Thundering Cloud blocks that pour out water, and sometimes even strike lightning. You can pick up and place both types of Cloud blocks using a bucket. These blocks will negate fall damage when landed on.

The Gust

The Gust is a cute and fluffy elemental mob that resembles a cloud. It is found in Cloud Islands and can be tamed with powder snow buckets. Once tamed, It will allow you to ride on its back until it tires out. To briefly restore Its energy, you can feed it wind charges. A wild Gust will become thundered when it is struck by lightning or damaged. It will either go above entities to shock them or blow powerful puffs of wind until they're defeated. These puffs can knock entities from heights. To calm it down, run away from it or wait until it stops raining. Additionally, you can also bucket tamed Gusts. To balance the mob out, the Gust will easily get weary and take a break on the nearest Cloud Island/water body. After a 5-minute break, it'll be ready to help you soar to your next adventure.
