Faster Copper Powered Railway (Both Versions)

This would be great to improve the use of minecarts and railways at the standard railway is 1) expensive and 2) slow! Having this on my worlds where I have places thousands of blocks away linked with a slow railway (so I don't get lost) will allow fast travel to these areas. It also makes sense - copper is used in real life to conduct electricity... Also make it more than 8 blocks from a source of redstone as copper is more conductive. Please?

    I think having its speed vary on oxidation state would be nice. Powered rails top their speed at 8 m/s, so copper rails at its 4 states would have speeds of 12 m/s, 8 m/s, 5 m/s, and 2 m/s. Any speed above that, only the unoxidized rail would maintain it.
    Gold rails could add +1m/s per rail the minecart crosses, accelerating to top speed of 100 m/s, or throw wind charges behind minecart to speed it up.
