The Block Eater mob

New mob that eats random blocks at random times, normally it will eat the blocks at the speed of breaking a block with your hand.

It can be tamed by giving him a soft block like sand, dirt, or gravel.

a new addition:

The Golden theet! made with 6 gold nuggets,  can be found on buried treasures, Pillagers oupost, and shipwrecks. you can put it on the new mob or a wolf, increasing the attack damage for the wolf, and the eating speed for the new mob.
