Horses being able to ride in boats again and unable to take fall damage

I want to be able to put my horse in a boat without having to drag him across the ocean on a lead. I also want my horse to be able to not take fall damage anymore. I want this because previously, these two were part of the game. You could put a horse in a boat, and horses couldn't take fall damage. Now, transporting horses across water is more difficult and inconvenient and navigating mountainous terrain with a horse is way more dangerous now. Removing these two features decreases the quality of life for using horses by making it more inconvenient to the user. It wouldn't be too hard to re add this; if it was added once before they can add it again. Simply make it to where horses are able to get in and out of boats, and that horses cannot take fall damage. Again, the removal of these two features severely decreases the quality of life when using a horse, as now they aren't as reliable as they once were

    I agree! Especially about the fall damage. I am notorious for falling into ravines, holes, chasms, pits, sinkholes, off cliffs, mountains, and other precarious edges. I have taken some seriously deadly (40+blocks) falls while riding my trusted companion! If anything, make it so fall damage can only take them to one heart. I prefer horse transportation, don’t let my beautiful steed die of inevitable fall damage. Minecraft’s terrain is too vertically expansive to make horse riding plausible if they can die of fall damage.
