Pigs
Add a trough block into the game! I think it could be expandable by adding subsequent troughs next to each other. You should be able to fill the trough with any type of farming/food scrap that you don’t want (leftover hay, seeds, or even cake and soup). Buy feeding the pigs these scraps, there should be a game mechanic for the pigs to fatten up (that you could see). Then when you decide to harvest the pigs, you should get even more porkchops and even fatty bacon! Maybe a new food item could be bacon and eggs in the crafting tree?
Caffeine
Introduce two new plants: coffee bushes and tea trees! The tea trees could grow on the alpine line in extreme mountain biomes, and you could harvest the tree leaves with shears (the leaf blocks would need to grow back with time). Then you could add a mechanic for harvesting times and roasting (fresh leaf blocks make white tea (least caffeine), mature leaves make green tea (more caffeine, and then you can roast the blocks into oolong (most caffeine).
The coffee berries could be harvested early, but mature berries could provide more caffeine, and roasted beans could provide the most caffeine). I don’t think coffee naturally grows in a jungle biome. But that may be a good place to find it?
Caffeine could create a player speed boost effect (faster mining, greater sword knockback or faster swings).
Making all of the caffeinated beverages could also add a Husbandry/Farming Achievement “Caffeine Connoisseur”
