Let's talk about a new structure

Minecraft uptades are most optional things like sniffers and ancient citys, so why not a new structure/mob that is not optional for progression? like a temple that would give a new utility for the nether star.

in the temple would have some traps, and when you arrive to the end of the room of the temple would have a sarcophagus that you would put the nether star in the sarcophagus and kill the mob that is inside,get the item back to the end portal put the eyes, a cool little laser like the dragon getting energy of the crystals you would put the item in the spot and the portal will open and done a new cool structure that is not optional to progression fun right?.
