Everyone knows that's villagers (Librarians in specific) are incredibly overpowered. The reason these are used is because they are the best way to get enchants, and structures are not, which is what I'm focusing on. Instead of leveling up villagers for more trades, they should start with 3 trades. Then inside of structure loot chests, you will find ✨Discovery Scrolls✨! Giving these to a villager will unlock new trades depending on the type of villager. There would be 3 rarities: Level 1, 2, and 3. The higher the rarity, the better the unlocked trade will be. For example, a level one unlock on a librarian would be something like buying a bookshelf, a level 2 would be a name tag or low level enchant, and a level 3 would be a higher level enchant, or some sort of new special item. Unlike smithing templates, these are not able to be duplicated, but are pretty common. With this new feature, Mojang could implement more villager professions, such as a lumberjack, beekeeper, engineer, or archeologist. Through these new trade unlocks and villager professions, new items could be made, being found as mob drops, loot, or blocks in the world. From these new items could sprout new recipes, new tool, new fun things to play around with, all in all making a ton of new things to do, and new reason to explore. Thank you for reading!
