I enjoy the direction Minecraft has been going for the past few updates but I have some things to say. Villagers are a core part of any player's world. But using villagers is one of the most frustrating things you can ever do in Minecraft making it beyond a pain to use. Their pathfinding needs improvement; they can't seem to comprehend complex structures and they get stuck because they can't seem to figure out how to get to their job/bed even when the way seems simple. I also feel like villagers don't have enough ways to defend themselves. Whenever I find a village on a playthrough I will immediately block them in their houses because I know even with the existence of iron golems they will die within the first night or second night of them being loaded in. Maybe add a guardian villager that is a rare spawn but powerful or have hostile mobs not spawn a certain radius around a village. Also getting a villager the right job is incredibly difficult; as many blocks that are common for utility or buildings can become a problem as villagers will try and get the job you don't want to give them making it very difficult to get them the right job. Maybe make a way to give a villager a job through an item as well as one to take away their job. Transporting villagers is also incredibly difficult. I'm not saying we should be able to put them on leads but maybe allow them to be put on camels, horses, or lamas. Please consider my suggestions as I believe it would greatly improve the game.
