/fill ~~~~~~ (block) except (block)

A /fill variation I would like is for you to type /fill (cords) (cords) (block) except (block). This would make the slash fill command so much easier since it would replace all blocks in the selected coordinates except the block that you don’t want to be replaced. Say I want an entire area cleared EXEPT diamond ore. I could use this command when doing something like this WITHOUT having to use 25 commands to get rid of every other block.

    This exists already with /fill replace specify block

    if you want to do something like that, you could instead use the # after replace, like if you want to clear an area, but keep the ores, you could do /fill (pos1) (pos2) air replace #base_stone_overworld
