In Minecraft, you can use the § symbol while typing to make the text change. For example, §l makes the text bold, §o makes the text italicized, and §4 makes the text red. There are so many things we could do with this, but this feature is limited.
If you type certain things, like §x, or §w, it doesn’t do anything. There should be new things you can type with this.
§n and §m
In Minecraft Java Edition, typing §n will underline the text, and §m will strikethrough the text. This isn’t on Bedrock Edition, and it definitely should be.
§w
Right now, §w doesn't do anything, but it should highlight the text. You would first type §w, then a number/letter that changes the color of text (like 1 for blue, 2 for green, ect.) right after that. The text would be highlighted a color depending on what number/letter you type.
§x and §y
If you type §x, it should change the font the text is in. In Java Edition, there are multiple fonts you can access by using the tellraw command. These include “illageralt”, which is the illagers’ language and “alt”, which is the font used in the enchantment table. These should be accessible with the § symbol, so we can use these more easily on Bedrock Edition. §x would be illageralt, and §y would be alt.
These features should be added to Minecraft because they would allow us to send better messages in maps and just in general, when playing with friends.
By the way, I didn't know what topic to put this in, so I just put it in commands since that is where I use it the most.
