I was playing with /title actionbar with custom fonts, and I was really suprised how powerful it could be.
However, with people playing with different screen resolutions, and different GUI scale one problem seems to be hard to overcome - displaying things in places other than middle of the screen. While possible to some degree, it is hard to create a good UX around it.
This problem could be solved with what I think would be a simple way - having more /title <targets>, located and anchored in different places around the screen. Example of some useful ones could be a top right corner of the screen for a custom effect system, or just on the right of hotbar for "secondary offhand" (I think chisels and wands in the past used such slot for showing active shapes).
While having full systems - like custom effect packs - would obviously be great, a simple change to /title might really open the creativity. :-)
