As a player, I want more incentive to wear leather armor so that I have to decide when to change out of my defensive armor.
The recent experimental villager rebalancing eliminated stacking villager discounts when curing a zombie villager multiple times. Some users dislike this change, however, the leatherworker can introduce a secondary way for players to receive minor discounts from trading.
Leatherworkers sell dyed leather armor, however, I have never felt compelled to wear this dyed armor, which is disappointing because it is a good feature. I propose changing which dyed leather armors the leatherworker sell. The dyed armor should correspond to the biome type of the leatherworker. Below are the colors that could be used for each biome.
Desert- Orange
Jungle- Yellow
Plains - Brown
Savannah- Red
Snow- Light Blue
Swamp- Magenta
Taiga- White
The dyed leather armor would be dyed using 2 dyes. The first dye would correspond to the villager biome and the second would be a random color. This results in unique colors for each leatherworker.
When the player wears a leather armor piece that has a matching color of that villager profession biome, the villager offers a slight discount. This behavior would apply to all professions, not just the leatherworker.
As an example, a player wears a leather cap that is dyed brown and red. The player would receive a small discount from any villager from the plains or savannah biome so long as the player is wearing that piece of armor during the trade.
