Hello,
I read the guidelines for the use of Minecraft music that you recently posted.
Thank you so much for your efforts to be considerate for content creators.
I'm a YouTuber who posts videos of me playing Minecraft on YouTube. I really love your game and it's been years since I've been playing for hours a day. So I'm making videos of my original gameplay and posting it on the channel.
However, there are some unresolved questions.
I'm wondering if the sound source on the playlist is really safe from copyright. I've clearly confirmed that C418's sound source is registered on your playlist, but when I searched on JASRAC(Japan Music Copyright Association)'s website, it's confirmed that C418's copyright is still registered.
The music most loved by Minecraft content creators is by far the sound source of C418. However, C418's music was really problematic for creators to use. Not to mention false copyright reports from various scammers, the other is the anxiety that JASRAC's copyright reports might come from nowhere. They are famous for deleting creators' videos and acting very oppressive, completely independent of your company's content production guidelines.
In conclusion, can we safely use all C418's sound sources from now on? I hope this is resolved.
I love your game. Your game is my childhood memory, my youth happiness and a world I will never forget.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
